NBCUniversal Entertainment Japan announced on Monday that The Strongest Job Is Apparently Not a Hero or a Sage, but an Appraiser (Provisional)! It will receive a TV anime adaptation next year. The anime will be directed by Makoto Hoshino at Studio Flad and will air in April.

Alongside the release date, a promotional video, teaser visual, main cast, and character visuals were also revealed.

The main cast includes Hisako Kanemoto as Hibiki Manabe, Shizuka Itō as Emalia, Lamalfa Michelle Tateyama as Lilian, Kenta Miyake as Claude, and Yukina Shutō as Vene.

The original light novel was written by Atekichi with illustrations by Akira Shigaraki beginning in 2017. AlphaPolis will release the eighth volume on October 30. AlphaPolis also began publishing a manga adaptation by Atekichi and Atsushi Takeda in late 2017, and has released ten volumes. AlphaPolis has released the first four volumes in English on their Alpha Manga website.
