Warner Bros. Japan released the first official trailer for the upcoming film adaptation of All You Need Is Kill on Tuesday. The trailer reveals a January 9 release date in Japan and can be viewed below.

The trailer also features the theme song, which is titled Tsuretette, and is performed by Akasaki. In addition to the trailer, staff released the first key visual and announced that the movie will screen at multiple film festivals around the world. The film is being directed by Kenichiro Akimoto at Studio 4°C. This will be Akimoto’s directorial debut, as he’s previously been known for visual effects.
