AWICH x ALI Debut GOLDEN KAMUY Film Theme Song “GOLDEN HORIZON”

By Josh PiedraOctober 8, 2025

Japan’s leading female rapper Awich has teamed up with multi-genre band ALI for their new collaborative track “GOLDEN HORIZON,” which serves as the official theme song to the upcoming anime film GOLDEN KAMUY – Sapporo Beer Factory Arc – (Theatrical Advance Ver.).

GOLDEN KAMUY

Available everywhere now, the track features a dynamic vocal interplay between the two artists, adding a dramatic flair to the final chapter of the hugely popular anime franchise. The song returns ALI to the world of Golden Kamuy following their popular opening theme to the anime’s fourth season “NEVER SAY GOODBYE feat. Mummy-D.” Based on the award-winning manga, which has sold over 30 million copies, the theatrical event arrives in Japanese theaters this Friday, October 10 ahead of the series’ final chapter and new season, which is set to premiere in January 2026.

Of the track, Awich comments, “The cycle of life, prayers, betrayal, bonds, and determination depicted in Golden Kamuy deeply resonated with me. I’m proud to have turned that story into a song together with ALI. I’ve always felt a connection between the Ainu and Okinawan cultures—both rooted in the land, both having endured oppression while preserving their heritage. That spiritual resonance inspired ‘Golden Horizon.’ This is a tribute to those who keep fighting. I created it with deep respect for every moment leading up to the finale. May this song stay in your memory alongside the story.”

ALI adds, “When I got the offer, I was honestly blown away and incredibly grateful. I poured everything I had into ‘NEVER SAY GOODBYE’ for Season 4, and this time, I wanted to go even deeper—to express love and emotion more fully. Working with Awich, Chaki Zulu, and my longtime partner Ryo ‘LEFTY’ Miyata, we reached a place I couldn’t have seen alone. It’s all thanks to our pure love for the story. As the final chapter unfolds…What will you discover beyond the gold? Golden Kamuy forever! Long live music!”
