Mina The Hollower Has Been Delayed By Yacht Club Games

It's not a long delay, apparently, but it's still there.

Mina the Hollower, Yacht Club Games

No gamer likes it when a title they want to play is released, especially if it’s one they’ve really been looking forward to. For indie fans, especially those who have loved the titles by Yacht Club Games, you’ve undoubtedly been excited for the release of Mina the Hollower, which was set to arrive later this month. However, in an update on their website, the dev team revealed that they had to push the release date back. Specifically, they felt the game was “not quite there yet,” and thus, while not a long delay, they felt the need to push it back:

“This week, our team made a tough decision: we decided to delay Mina the Hollower. The entire crew has been working tirelessly day and night to finish development for release on Oct 31st, but we’re just not quite there yet.  This isn’t a major delay, it’s just a stretch of time to apply some final polish and balancing to make the game truly shine.

With that said, we would like to apologize! Nevertheless, we will not waver on our commitment to quality. Our goal is to make sure our development team has the time and resources to deliver an incredible adventure and we will be giving you just that. That’s no hollow promise!”

The team also specified that the things they’re focusing on are elements like testing, sound design, and ensuring the art looks great, adding the localization for other regions, and apparently, eating cheese.

Hopefully, we’ll get a true release date announced soon.
