By Richard HeatonSeptember 29, 2025

The production team behind The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen: From Villainess to Savior announced on Sunday that the previously revealed second season will air in April 2026. A short promotional video can be viewed below, which includes the release date and new staff.

The new staff includes composers Misaki Tsuchida, Tsugumi Tanaka, and Kaho Sawada. Two new visuals have been unveiled as well, including a character profile of protagonist Pride Royal Ivy.

The first season aired in Summer 2023 and received a 7.12 score from My Anime List. Ichijinsha will release the 12th volume of the light novel from Tenichi and Suzunosuke on Thursday. Seven Seas Entertainment is licensing the series in English and released the 9th volume last month.
