Code Vein II Release Date Revealed at Tokyo Game Show 2025

By Keith MitchellSeptember 25, 2025
Code Vein 2 Release Date revealed during Tokyo Game Show 2025.

Bandai Namco Entertainment has officially revealed the release date for Code Vein II during its Tokyo Game Show 2025 presentation. The highly anticipated sequel to the anime-inspired Soulslike will launch on January 30, 2026.

The game is being developed by Bandai Namco Studios with co-development by Shift Inc., the same team behind the original Code Vein. Players can expect a return to its dark, post-apocalyptic world, with refined combat mechanics and deeper character customization. Oh, and a really cool looking motorcycle.

I had a chance to see Code Vein II in action, briefly, during Summer Game Fest 2025, and while I came away intrigued and excited by what I saw, I was also left wanting more. Thankfully, along with the release date announcement, Bandai Namco showcased more of the game at TGS 2025, and it looks much better than when I first previewed it.

So, if you were looking at 2026 and saying to yourself that there’s too many games to play, get ready to add yet another title to your list. And for you Soulslike players out there, like myself, we’re eating early 2026, and that’s a good thing.

Code Vein II is set to release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, ensuring fans across platforms can experience the next chapter.
