Aniplex announced on Saturday that the long-awaited Fate/strange Fake series has been delayed to January 2026. It was originally set to premiere at some point in 2025, following the airing of its first episode in 2024. In addition to the new release date, Aniplex also revealed a promotional video, visual, and theme song artist.
The opening theme has been revealed to be titled “PROVANT” and will be performed by Hiroyuki Sawano ft. Jean-Ken Johnny, and Takuma. Sawano previously collaborated on the opening theme for the Fate/strange Fake: Whispers of Dawn film, titled “FAKEit”
