Just how deep are the connections to Three Houses?

Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave

Today’s Nintendo Direct was a major event, and it featured numerous announcements. The fact that Fire Emblem Fortune’s Weave closed the show highlights how the publisher values the franchise and its fanbase. At first, all we had was the new trailer, which you can see below, to find out more about the game, and many have already dissected it. However, some new info has been received, and the Fire Emblem site Serenes Forest has posted some new info on the characters we see in the trailer.

While small, these do give us insights into the characters that we’ll be playing, and give us an idea of how their stories will “intertwine,” as the Nintendo Direct teased.

In a more detailed analysis on their website, Serenes Forest noticed numerous connections to Fire Emblem Three Houses, including that some of the characters not only have Crest Weapons, but have Crests that connect them to Fodlan characters like Yuri, Mercedes, and Constance.

The trailer for Fire Emblem Fortune’s Weave ended with a grown-up Sothis appearing before a character we can’t see, and a tweet compared the images of the two versions of Sothis, and you can see there are key differences between not only their looks, but the very thrones they sit upon.

This game has many mysteries to unravel, and we’ll have to wait until 2026 to get the answers!
