Hyrule Warriors Age of Imprisonment Gets New Art Alongside New Trailer

Hyrule Warriors Age of Imprisonment, Tokyo Game Show

So, yeah, it’s been a busy day for us here at The Outerhaven, as between the Nintendo Direct that came out earlier today and certain other pieces of news, there’s been a lot to cover! One thing we haven’t done an individual piece on yet was Hyrule Warriors Age of Imprisonment, which has gotten a release date of November 6th for Nintendo Switch 2. Aside from that great release date, we also got an all-new trailer that breaks down the gameplay even more, alongside some official art that showcases Zelda and the past Champions of the Imprisoning War in full effect!

One of the key reveals of the new trailer was the arrival of a new playable character…a Korok! Okay, I’m not sure how to personally feel about this, but hey, there has to be at least ONE good Korok out there, right? Also, it was revealed that Zonai Devices will be accessible in the game and able to be used in combat to really put a hurting on enemies or set them up for big damage.

Furthermore, combo moves were officially confirmed as “Sync Strikes,” and you’ll want to test out all the pairings to see what they all can do! If that’s not enough, the game will have co-op and even Game Share capabilities!

As for the official Hyrule Warriors Age of Imprisonment art you can see above, the Champions all look pretty awesome, and we finally got a clear look at the mysterious Zonai Device-comprised warrior that’ll fight alongside you in the game. The trailer even teases that we’ll get to do aerial combat with them!

This will be a game to keep an eye on as November comes!
