New Pokemon Legends Z-A Teaser Highlights Upcoming Mega Evolution Reveal

Some people REALLY love Malamar...

Pokemon Legends Z-A

As I noted recently on the Nintendo Entertainment Podcast, I was curious about whether The Pokemon Company would continue dropping Pokemon Legends Z-A Mega Evolution reveals every week leading up to the game’s launch on October 16th. Last week, we got the epic reveal of Mega Hawlucha, which left many wondering which Pokémon is next for the “mega reveal.” Today, we seem to have gotten a teaser that makes it really clear which Pokémon it is, and it’s not the one you’re thinking. Look at the official Twitter handle for the series posted:

Yep, they’re going with Malamar this time! As others have fairly noted, each Mega Evolution reveal has been drastically different from the others. We’ve had “found footage” tapings, a full-on animation depicting Hawlucha vs. Machamp, and now…fans…REALLY showing their love of Malamar. If you don’t know, this is a Pokémon that is known for taking over the minds of humans…and that might be what’s happening here. Fun times.

Either way, it’s clear that we’re likely to get a full-on reveal video tomorrow, so stay tuned!
