The First LEGO Pokemon Sets May Have Some High Prices

Gotta Build'em All...If You Have The Money...
By Todd BlackSeptember 1, 2025
LEGO Pokemon

The Pokémon franchise is easily the biggest around for the simple reason that it has so many different ways to be sold and used. We’re getting a new game in the franchise later this year for the Nintendo Switch/Switch 2, and that’s all but guaranteed to sell millions of copies. However, something that fans are looking forward to next year is the LEGO Pokemon sets that were announced earlier in 2025. Currently, we don’t know what specifically we’re getting from these sets, though a Pikachu model does seem guaranteed. That being said, a new leak points to a certain price point for certain sets that might turn off some people from getting them.

This comes from the Reddit page, Legoleak, who noted that while some sets may be $60 for a near-600-piece set, there will also potentially be a 6800-piece set that’ll cost $650! That better be a big LEGO Pokemon!

This isn’t unfamiliar territory for LEGO fans, and The Pokémon Company will clearly want to maximize things by having “price ranges” that everyone can partake in. Thus, if you want to get some of these sets when they arrive next year, you might want to start saving money now.
