Silent Hill f has revealed its English voice cast. This morning, Konami shared a behind-the-scenes interview video showcasing the full cast and their experiences. This comes on the heels of last week’s Gamescom announcement of Suzie Yeung voicing Hinako Shimizu. Hinako serves as the main protagonist of Silent Hill f. But the survival horror game has a few characters populating its spooky yet surprisingly beautiful Japanese town.
In addition to Suzie Yeung as Hinako Shimizu, Silent Hill f also features Nicholas Leung as Iwai Shu, Frankie Kevich as Nishida Rinko, and Courtney Lin as Igarashi Sakuko. Caleb Yen features as a character known as “Fox Mask.” Check out the interview below to hear a bit about their experiences:
In case you wonder where you may have heard these voices before, Leung is known for Honkai: Star Rail. Meanwhile, Kevich can be heard in Secrets of the Silent Witch, Lin in Pokémon Masters, and Yen in The Prince of Tennis. And of course, you can hear Yeung in a number of titles including Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. In our review we said that Yeung deserves “special commendation” for humanizing the frenetic character of Yuffie.
In voicing Hinako Shimizo, Yeung notes that the lead character “goes through the entire spectrum of human emotions.”
I’ll admit, I was planning on simply playing Silent Hill f in Japanese. It’s the first main Silent Hill game set in Japan, after all. But after hearing this all-star cast talk about their love for the source material and how much thought they put into their roles, I may have to give the English voiceover a shot.
Finding Beauty in Terror in Silent Hill f
The official Silent Hill f site describes the game thusly:
In 1960s Japan, teenager Shimizu Hinako lives in the small, remote town of Ebisugaoka, nestled in a mountain pass. An average teen, she passes the time with nothing particularly special about her life.Until, that is, a deep fog descends on Ebisugaoka, and everything Hinako knows crumbles as she finds her once-familiar home infested with spreading danger, the town empty except for the horrors teeming in the fog.
Silent Hill f will arrive on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Microsoft Store and the Epic Games Store. You can enter the town of Ebisugaoka on September 25th, 2025.
