There’s a Kirby Train In Japan, And You Can Ride It Right Now

Why? Because they can.

Kirby Train

One of the best things about Nintendo is that they’re never, EVER, afraid to put their characters or brand on certain things if they think that people will get a kick out of it. You might recall a “Mario Plane” that happened via a collaboration with JetBlue. Now, Nintendo has taken that to the next level, for as they announced on their website, the Kirby Train that was made in Osaka is now up and operational, and you can ride it right now if you head to the country or currently live there.

As you’ll see in the pictures below and the ones on the website, this is a full-tilt Kirby train. The “wrapped art” appears both outside and inside the train to really nail the aesthetic:

“Inside the train, there will be hanging posters looking back on the history of the Kirby series , as well as original stickers , so be sure to check them out.

But wait, there’s more! While this train is operational, there will be special events held associated with the train!

“To coincide with the train’s operation, a stamp rally event will be held from Tuesday, September 2nd to Monday, November 24th (national holiday) . There are seven stamp points set up along the Hankyu line, and those who collect stamps from four of them will be able to receive a prize.”

Still not enough for you? Then you should know that there will be photo ops with Kirby and his friends, merchandise you can get via the train’s official store, and even food!

Something to note is that this train will be operational when Kirby Air Riders arrives on the Nintendo Switch 2, so you could bring it with you on the train and have fun while riding!
