Ever since I’ve had some hands-on with the upcoming action/adventure title that’s not a Soulslike, Phantom Blade Zero, I’ve become smitten with the game. And while I know that the game won’t be released anytime soon, the recent gameplay footage that has appeared, along with the plethora of Nvidia’s GeForce coverage that has been released today, has me very excited.
This newly released gameplay footage not only looks amazing, of course no part thanks to the RTX technology, but also the art direction, and it clearly shows. Entitled “The Return of Pang Town”, we get to see the protagonist of the game kicking some ass as he traverses a location that has never been seen outside of the developers’ eyes. Damn, it looks so good.
Give the footage a watch for yourself. Mind the drooling.
Phantom Blade Zero is the upcoming action RPG that has been living in my head, rent-free. With lightning-fast martial-arts combat, this isn’t just another action RPG. Expect cinematic boss fights, authentic kung fu motion capture, and a semi-open world packed with secrets. And if my hands-on is any indication, once this game drops, I won’t be putting it down anytime soon.
Sadly, there’s no release date for the title, and when I last spoke to the developer, S-Game, all that was mentioned was that it works to make the game the best it can be.
