KPop Demon Hunters’ Kevin Woo Brings 1200+ Fans to DTLA Fan Event

Kevin Woo

K-pop star and breakout voice of KPop Demon Hunters, Kevin Woo, is partnering with music platform OpenWav to host a high-energy fan meet-up in Los Angeles to celebrate the film, the music, and his latest merch drop available only on OpenWav. Fans can expect a live dance flash mob (to the viral hit “Soda Pop”), exclusive merch, a surprise performance by Kevin, and the chance to connect 1:1 during a VIP Meet & Greet.

Kevin’s music in KPop Demon Hunters has lit up global fandoms and introduced him to a new wave of audiences. Since its release, KPop Demon Hunters and Saja Boys have grown to over 40M monthly listeners and dominated both Netflix and Billboard Top 100 charts.

With KCON taking over Los Angeles and KPop Demon Hunters continuing to make waves across fan communities worldwide, Kevin is celebrating the moment with an IRL event that blends music, fashion, and fan culture for an unforgettable experience.

The Kevin Woo x Saja Boys fan meet-up — hosted and ticketed through OpenWav, which empowers artists to own their events and sell directly to fans — generated major momentum out the gate, with over 1500 RSVPs and all VIP tickets sold out in under 60 minutes.

Fans are encouraged to join Kevin’s WavRoom (a fan chat in the OpenWav app) for real-time updates, behind-the-scenes access, and a direct connection to Kevin ahead of the event. OpenWav is available for free on the App Store and Google Play.
