Kirby and the Forgotten Land Gets Overview Trailer For Switch 2 Content

What's new in the forgotten land?

Kirby and the Forgotten Land Review

Fans might be a little “mixed” on how well certain “Switch 2 Editions” of OG Switch titles have come out so far, but none can deny that Nintendo is making an effort to make the transition from Switch to Switch 2 a meaningful one, especially for games like Kirby and the Forgotten Land. If you recall my original review, I really liked the game and thought it was a lot of fun, especially with the semi-open world and new “Mouthful” gameplay mechanics. The Switch 2 version will introduce the “Star-Crossed World” expansion that’ll bring new story content and gameplay to players.

Long story short, a mysterious meteor has hit the realm, and it’s caused many areas to transform, including some of the bad guys you fought in the original game. Now, enemies are tougher, including bosses, and you must collect the “Starries” so that you can keep an “ancient evil” at bay. A nice new element to the title isn’t just the revamped stages but a trio of new Mouthful Modes for Kirby to try out.

You can check out the new Kirby and the Forgotten Land overview trailer below, and get the game on August 28th.

For those who have the original version of Switch, you can purchase the “Upgrade Pack” to get the new content.
