Evo USA 2025: Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Ken Release Date Revealed

By Kevin KellyAugust 3, 2025

SNK revealed the “when” we’ve all been waiting for in regards to Ken’s debut in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. Street Fighter’s Ken will be making his way to South Town tonight at 5 pm PT / 8 pm ET. Ken and the Sozaku castle, his arcade, and the Episodes of South Town story, as well as a potential list of collab tracks, will be coming along with him in the jukebox. As a matter of fact, Ken comes with 10 tracks to throw a hadouken at.

From his Turbo Stage theme to Mai’s new Street Fighter VI theme, Ken’s adding some more Street Fighter flavor to the mix. The main theme from Street Fighter VI, “Reinvent The Game”, as well as a bunch of other variations of Ken’s themes, are here, too. Mai and Terry’s runs from Street Fighter VI are also coming to City of the Wolves to solidify the pact. Ken will possibly usher in some new balance patch changes to Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.

An animation has been seen at the Evo USA 2025 major today to mark the special occasion. Similar to the City of the Wolves intro, this focuses on both Ken and Terry. Legendary anime artist Masami Obari gets his lines out for both again. Too bad, though: I still want to see Ken and Andy go at it finally! Ken and Terry’s intro will replace the current one for now on game startup.

Ken is the second character to come from the free Year 1 DLC Pass that comes with City of the Wolves. Ken followed Andy, and will be setting the stage for Joe, Chun-Li, and Mr Big, to follow.

Capcom vs SNK 2.4… err Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is available on PlayStation 4 | 5, Xbox Series X | S, and Steam / Epic Stores for PC. We loved what we saw, so check out our review here.
