SEGA® announced that starting today, Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles 2 has launched into advanced access for those who ordered the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Steam. Players still have time to grab this edition to play the game immediately on these platforms ahead of its full launch alongside the Nintendo Switch version on August 5, 2025.
In addition, The Hinokami Chronicles 2 will be participating in PlayStation Tournaments on PS5! Starting in August and hosted on a monthly basis, PS5 players from across the globe will be able to come together and compete for a chance to win fabulous prizes featuring both PlayStation-specific digital items and in-game content! More details will be shared in the coming weeks, so stay tuned.
Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2 Features:
- Take Up the Sword Once Again – Play as Tanjiro Kamado and face off against evil demons in key moments from the “Entertainment District Arc,” “Swordsmith Village Arc,” and “Hashira Training Arc” with breathtaking visuals and combat.

Earlier this week, SEGA also announced an “Infinity Castle Arc Character Pass” will be arriving post-launch. Plus, series antagonist Muzan Kibutsuji will be available as a playable character in VS Mode via a free post-launch update, so stay tuned for all those details!
