Battlefield 6 Unveils Destructive, High-Octane Gameplay In Brilliant Multiplayer Reveal

By Jordan AndowJuly 31, 2025
Is your PC ready to run Battlefield 6? Find out!

Since its official reveal last week, I have been waiting for a deeper look at Battlefield 6 and, more specifically, the gameplay. Today, EA and Battlefield Studios finally gave us our first official look at the multiplayer for Battlefield 6 with a massive event in several locations across the world.

During the event, Battlefield Studios spoke in detail about the all-new Kinesthetic Combat System, which brings enhancements to movement and gunplay. This gives players an unprecedented level of mobility, offering new tactical options such as Drag and Revive to pull teammates out of danger and back from the brink, and mounting weapons on walls to reduce recoil.

Alongside this, they also confirmed the return of the iconic class system, allowing you to play as Assault, Recon, Support, and Engineer. Don’t worry, these returning classes have been enhanced, designed to empower players to push their team towards victory, each with class-specific gadgets, signature weapons, and dedicated training. Destruction also returns, but enhanced to offer an unparalleled level of freedom, letting players transform the combat zone to create new paths, flank enemies, and dominate the battle.

You can check out a gameplay trailer below:

However, if that isn’t enough for you, I would highly recommend checking out the Battlefield YouTube Channel. They have several videos detailing everything that was revealed in the reveal event.

You Can Play Battlefield 6 Very Soon

Confirmed during the livestream, Battlefield 6 will have an open beta, and it’s only a few weeks away. Battlefield’s biggest Open Beta ever goes LIVE for two weekends from August 9 through August 10, 2025, and from August 14 through August 17, 2025. Fans will have the chance to join the Open Beta two days early on August 7 by watching some of their favorite streamers play the game. The beta allows players to experience several of the multiplayer modes and maps and is available across all available platforms. Visit the following link to find out more here.

I’ll be jumping into this beta, the gameplay shown today seems like exactly what myself and other members of the community have all been waiting for. I can’t wait to jump in and see how it feels.

Battlefield Is Back And Only A Few Months Away

It looks like Battlefield is well and truly back, so don’t worry! If you enjoy the beta, you won’t have to wait too long to get your hands on the full game.

Battlefield 6 is launching on October 10th, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (Steam, EA App, Epic Games Store).

Jordan has been playing games since the age of six. This ignited a passion which initially led him towards game development before trying his hand in the realm of games media, starting in 2022. It turns out he's quite good at it, even if he doesn't always believe in himself. Now, just a few short years later, not only is Jordan a valued member of our staff here at The Outerhaven, but he also co-owns and helps to run Analog Stick Gaming.
