Udon Comics has revealed that they will be releasing a new collection for Capcom’s hit Marvel collaboration series, Marvel vs Capcom. Not to be outdone by Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics‘ release last year, Marvel vs Capcom Ultimate Complete Works is another attempt at amalgamating every piece of art produced by Capcom. Sketches, concept pieces, background stills, you name it, it’s probably here.
This time, Udon plans to go from The Punisher and finish with 2017’s Marvel vs Capcom Infinite. Every title is included, including the Origins remastering in 2011. Just in case a refresher of the list is needed, here’s the list:
- The Punisher
- X-Men: Children of the Atom
- Marvel Super Heroes
- X-Men vs. Street Fighter
- Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter
- Marvel vs. Capcom
- Marvel vs. Capcom 2
- Marvel vs. Capcom 3
- Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3
- Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite
Udon Comics Is A True Believer
This is the first time that Udon Comics has revisited Marvel vs Capcom since the first book. The original, which was released in 2012, is now one of the most sought-after collections from the Udon Comics fold, ranging from astronomical figures in terms of value. Udon Comics has handled the Street Fighter series, in comic form, to give the franchise a bit more of a cohesive story and influence since 2003.
Udon’s titles include the original Street Fighter series, Street Fighter IV: Wages of S.I.N., and the women-led spin-off series Street Fighter Legends. Street Fighter Origins: Sagat was recently released to give the first boss of the World Warriors Tournament a thrilling backstory. Udon’s artwork collections from other Capcom games always leave no stone or pixel unturned. Udon has also joined forces with Capcom on games such as Capcom Fighting Evolution and Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers.
Marvel vs Capcom: Ultimate Complete Works will be released in November 2025 and is currently available for preorder. Six metal cards of fan favorites such as Ryu, Cyclops, Psylocke, and Chun-Li will be available from Panzer as a preorder bonus. Udon collaborator Jeffrey ‘Chamba’ Cruz immortalizes some of the game’s most deadly supers and other moments in six preorder enamel pins.
You can pre-order this by heading over to Udon’s online store, priced at $120, and expect the item to be shipped by November 2025.
