One of the early benefits that we all knew we would get from the Nintendo Switch 2 was getting some much-needed upgrades on certain OG Switch titles. While the original Switch worked beautifully for the most part, there were times when the handheld mode didn’t “keep up” with framerates or made the graphics get a bit pixelated. So, when you were playing big titles, it could get annoying. However, the Switch 2 has fixed that in large part, and two key Legend of Zelda titles are getting praised as “remasters” due to it. Those two titles are the Link’s Awakening remake and Echoes of Wisdom (read my review!
Apparently, Digital Foundry did a deep dive into how well the games worked on the Switch 2, and the results are thus:

That’s pretty impressive, as both games were highly praised in their original forms. Yet, this might be all the reason you need to replay them, as you can enjoy them with even better specs. Or, if you didn’t buy them before, now’s your chance to do so before the next Legend of Zelda entry arrives later this year via Hyrule Warriors Age of Imprisonment.
