Monolith Soft Shows Off Their Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition Avatars!

Such a creative bunch!

When it comes to player-created avatars, the point of them is often to go “full-tilt” and create someone that either looks like you, or looks like how you “want to be” in one form or another. Whether it’s the Elder Scrolls, Baldur’s Gate, Mass Effect, or Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition, you have many options before you, and the dev teams, like Monolith Soft, want nothing more than for you to create whatever your heart desires. So, in a special post by the dev team, they revealed some of the avatars that they made for Planet Mira! You can see them below:

Monolith Soft shared avatars that the staff made in Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition. It's still one of my favorite games of the year. They did an amazing job with the Definitive Edition.

As you can see, while some went for “stylish,” others in the team went for “nostalgic,” and we didn’t even know that last one was an actual option! It makes sense that the dev team would know the “ins and outs” better than us…”

While Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition (read our review!) is the only game in the series to let you customize your avatar fully, that might not be the case in the future. Monolith Soft is definitely working on a new RPG for the Nintendo Switch 2, so it’ll be interesting to see if they return to customizable avatars or continue with fixed protagonists.
