How to Easily Unlock All Vehicles in Mario Kart World

How to Easily Unlock All Vehicles in Mario Kart World

Currently, Mario Kart World features a total of 40 available karts. While 10 are unlocked from the beginning, players will need to put in some effort to unlock the remaining 30. With such a wide variety of vehicle designs—some truly eye-catching—it’s tempting to get them all as quickly as possible, whether you’re racing in 50CC, 150CC, or the challenging Mirror Mode.

To unlock karts, you’ll need to collect coins—specifically, every 100 coins unlocks a new kart. The usual way to earn coins is by racing, but this method can be time-consuming.

How to Unlock All Vehicles in Mario Kart World Easily With This Trick

Here’s a quick trick (which, at the time of writing, still works) to collect coins more efficiently:

  1. Go to the Free Roam Mode in the game.

  2. Look for a large road, like the one shown in the video above.

  3. Find a vehicle that has 3 coins behind it.

  4. Drive in zigzag motions, collecting the coins and allowing them to respawn repeatedly due to a bug.

  5. Normally, the coins would disappear, but with this bug, they keep reappearing.

This method significantly speeds up the process of unlocking karts, especially helpful if you’re just a few vehicles away from a complete collection. Note: If this trick stops working, it’s likely because of a patch from Nintendo—but for now, it’s still active.

As for whether Mario Kart World is worth buying, our review gave it a score of 4.5 out of 5, stating, “Mario Kart World feels like a true expansion of the franchise in many ways. The Nintendo Switch 2’s capabilities allow for grander courses, more intense races, and experiences that will appeal to both hardcore racers and those who just want to explore and enjoy the game with their friends.”
