Diva of Emotions SERRA to Release Debut Album Dawn Light

By Josh PiedraJune 22, 2025

SERRA, known for her emotionally resonant voice that has earned her the title “Diva of Emotions,” will release her highly anticipated first album Dawn Light on August 27, 2025, under Bandai Namco Music Live’s label Lantis.

SERRA

SERRA made her major debut with the digital-only single “EYERIS” on November 25, 2022. In April 2023, she performed her first anime tie-in with “Always and Forever,” the ending theme for the TV anime Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke’s Mansion. She wrote both the lyrics and music herself, earning high praise from fellow creators not only for her vocals but also for her songwriting talent.

On social media, she launched a viral campaign featuring a cappella videos filmed while holding a lantern. These videos quickly gained widespread attention, sparking a buzz among fans. In 2024, she expanded her activities by providing vocals and original songs for other artists as well.

Her long-awaited debut album Dawn Light features ten tracks, including two new songs, a remixed version of her major debut track “EYERIS,” the anime tie-in “Always and Forever,” and the fan-favorite “Blackout.” The album also offers fresh remixes and rearrangements of previous songs, offering listeners a fresh perspective on her work.

Reflecting the journey of the “Diva of Emotions,” who faced pain and doubt while holding onto hope, this album captures the fleeting moment of a new dawn, when faint light breaks through deep darkness.
