SGF 2025 – Clockwork Revolution Gets Huge Breakdown Trailer At Xbox Games Showcase

During Xbox Games Showcase 2025, inXile entertainment provided an extended look at first-person steampunk RPG, Clockwork Revolution. Although, I have to admitted the amount of detail we got on the game was shocking to me.

We got a real sense of the characters and world, but with tons of gameplay offer us a look at customisation, combat, dialogue choices and more. We saw so much that I was actually shocked that the trailer didn’t end with a 2025 release date.

This trailer left me excited to play Clockwork Revolution, which looks equal parts Dishonored, Bioshock and Fallout with all the RPG mechanics you could want. I was particularly impressed by the look of Gunplay and weapon customisation, something RPG games can often struggle to get right. Of course, we don’t yet know how the game will feel in hand but my initial impression is very good.

After the show, Xbox Wire also gave us some extra information via an interview with several members of the Inxile Entertainment team behind this upcoming First-Person RPG.

Clockwork Revolution will arrive in due time for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox PC, Steam, Xbox Cloud, with Game Pass and Xbox Play Anywhere.

When exactly that will be remains to be seen but after today’s trailer I’m willing to bet that it will be sooner rather than later.

Jordan has been playing games since the age of six. This ignited a passion which initially led him towards game development before trying his hand in the realm of games media, starting in 2022. It turns out he's quite good at it, even if he doesn't always believe in himself. Now, just a few short years later, not only is Jordan a valued member of our staff here at The Outerhaven, but he also co-owns and helps to run Analog Stick Gaming.
