Akiko Yano at EFG London Jazz Festival 2025

Akiko Yano, a beloved Japanese singer, songwriter, and pianist, has fascinated music lovers all over the world since the 1970s.  She worked with Yellow Magic Orchestra a.k.a. YMO, Pat Metheny, Thomas Dolby, The Chieftains, Marc Ribo, to name a few.

Recently, the latest piano duo (+Akiko’s vocal) live album with Hiromi was awarded Best Jazz Album by Music Awards JAPAN 2025.

Akiko will perform a solo (piano & vocal) set at EFG London Jazz Festival on Sunday, Nov.23. Door opens at 19:00 / Akiko starts at 19:30

Her rare appearance in the UK is scheduled at 19:30 at Barbian Center as a part of “Japanese Jazz” night.
