Nintendo Music Drops Entire OG Splatoon OST

You're a squid now, you're a kid now!

Nintendo Music, Splatoon

It’s always a good day when we get to talk about Nintendo Music, as it’s quickly becoming the “haven” for those who want to listen to The Big N’s best tracks without issue. In fact, it’s fair to say that there’s so much music on the service right now that you’re likely wanting for nothing. Or, if you think a game is missing from its playlist, it’ll come sooner rather than later. Case in point, it was revealed that the OG soundtrack for Splatoon dropped on the service, with 47 tracks being added in.

The significance of this is simple. First, as I noted yesterday, Splatoon has just crossed its 10th anniversary, and that alone is pretty cool. Second, the other two games in the series already have their soundtracks on Nintendo Music, which means that everything from the series is now there for you to enjoy. In fact, Nintendo made a quick video highlighting the many tracks you can now listen to across the franchise:

It’s been ten years since Splatoon first arrived on the Nintendo Wii U!

Hopefully, we’ll get to see more from this franchise in the future, as many are eager about what the 4th entry will bring to the Nintendo Switch 2.
