Marvelous USA released a new gameplay system overview video titled “Customization,” offering a deeper look at Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion ahead of its September 5, 2025, release for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.

This latest installment in the video series devoted to covering Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion, spotlighted the game’s robust customization options, highlighting the Arsenal, which is the fully customizable mechanized suit of armor. Players were shown five armor slots and six weapon slots, each capable of being outfitted with a wide range of ranged, melee, and explosive gear. Every piece of equipment came with its own distinct stats, opening up a deep pool of strategic combinations. This system allowed Outers, the augmented humans capable of piloting Arsenals and to tailor their loadouts to suit their unique combat styles.

Check out the video below.

Gear could be acquired in various ways, such as purchasing from vendors, looting hidden caches scattered across the battlefield, defeating enemies, or crafting items using data collected at the player’s home base. The more equipment an Outer obtained, the more tactical flexibility they gained when building loadouts for different missions and combat scenarios.

Developed under the direction of Kenichiro Tsukuda and featuring mechanical designs by the renowned Shoji Kawamori, Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion marked a bold evolution for the franchise. The game promised to deliver fast-paced, customizable mech action while exploring darker, more expansive sci-fi themes.

Key Features

A Titanic Evolution
The series’ signature high-speed armored combat made its way to new-gen consoles, bringing along a fresh sci-fi narrative and an increased scale that aimed to satisfy both newcomers and returning fans.

Build a Better You
Arsenals functioned as highly agile suits of war, with deep customization in both form and function. Players could craft or salvage parts to enhance their builds.

Together You Can Make a Difference
Multiplayer options, both cooperative and asynchronous, allowed players to team up online and face large-scale battles together, reinforcing the game’s community-driven aspects.

Beautiful and Deadly
The alien world of Titanic Scion served as a sprawling battleground where players fought mechanical and organic enemies alike. Whether traversing on foot, flying through the skies, or even riding horseback, the environment offered a wide variety of terrain and combat opportunities.

Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion was first revealed during the 2023 Marvelous Game Showcase.

As a massive fan of the original Daemon X Machina title, everything that I’ve seen so far has made me very excited for what Marvelous has revealed. Especially since the first game was a massive hit for mecha fans, and provided that gameplay that had been missing ever since the Armored Core series, which has ironically been revived, so many years ago.
