Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. Can Be Wishlisted Now

By Kevin KellyMay 24, 2025
Virtua Fighter

Sega released a Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. trailer yesterday, serving as a “wishlist now” reminder. After its announcement earlier this month, through the VF Direct, the game can now be wishlisted on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S, and Nintendo Switch 2. This will mark the 5th sub-iteration of the 2006 AM2 fighting game, and in a big way.

Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. is promised to include new content and updates alongside its current Steam offerings, such as tournament and league modes. Rollback Netcode and Crossplay will also be coming to the remaining ecosystems similarly. No release date has yet been announced for the remaining ecosystems. Meanwhile, Steam’s version of R.E.V.O. is available now. PlayStation 4’s version of R.E.V.O. – Ultimate Showdown – is also available now. Both titles sport the new version 2.01 movesets for the characters, which are based on the previous VF5 R title.
