Despite what some people may claim, there have been numerous improvements to the Nintendo Switch 2 that put it a step above its predecessor. One of the features that gamers are particularly looking forward to is the built-in GameChat feature, which will allow players to easily talk with one another while also being sensitive enough to not pick up background noise. Combined with the camera option (sold separately), you can both see and hear your friends while you’re playing games like Mario Kart World. However, if you don’t want your screen “cluttered” with their visages, you do have options on that front.
As you can see below, there are three screen options for you to determine how you want to see your friends on screen. You can put them in a much larger view so you can always see what they’re doing, or you can completely remove them from the screen so you can focus on your own actions. The choice is entirely yours.
Nintendo showed that GameChat has three different sizes for the main screen: Standard, Expand and Full Screen.Nice to know you can still do voice chat without sacrificing the screen size.

Having these kinds of options is important for this new feature, as it will take time to get used to it and see what “works for each player.”
