Original Kid Icarus Soundtrack Comes To Nintendo Music

Fly, Pit!
By Todd BlackMay 19, 2025
Kid Icarus, Nintendo Music

One thing we’re seeing as Nintendo Music adds more soundtracks to its roster is that it’s not afraid to jump from one period or era to the next without hesitation. Recently, some Nintendo Switch games were added to the mix, and now, we go all the way back to the beginning of The Big N’s console life via the arrival of Kid Icarus! That’s right! This is the OST for the first game starring Pit, which showed him in a much different light, as the game was very much in line with the platformers of the past, just with some mythological characters and storylines.

When Masahiro Sakurai got his hands on the franchise via Kid Icarus Uprising, he turned it into a more complex rail shooter of sorts, and many hope he, or someone else, will get the opportunity to take the franchise to the next level once again via the Switch 2.

In the meantime, Nintendo Music has the twelve tracks from the game, so you should check them out!

Nintendo added the original Kid Icarus to Nintendo Music. The total amount of tracks added is 12.
