Capcom Hints At Monster Hunter Wilds X Street Fighter 6 Crossover

By Keith MitchellMay 19, 2025

If there’s one thing Capcom loves, it’s those zany crossover collaborations between its franchises like Street Fighter, Resident Evil, and Monster Hunter. And now, it looks like another one is brewing—at least, that’s what the Monster Hunter Twitter account (and no, I’m not calling it X) seems to be teasing for Monster Hunter Wilds.

A recent post on the page reads, “Get a load of THESE claws,” accompanied by an image of a paw print styled in Street Fighter 6‘s signature graffiti look. The black and blue background even uses the same font from Street Fighter 6. That paw print? It looks like it belongs to everyone’s favorite little sidekicks, the Felynes.

Beyond that, Capcom hasn’t shared any other details, so it’s hard to say exactly what they’re planning, however, crossovers between Street Fighter and Monster Hunter are nothing new. If memory serves, Monster Hunter Generations, Monster Hunter World, and Monster Hunter Rise all featured skins and outfits inspired by Street Fighter characters.

For now, we’ll have to wait to see what Capcom has planned, but it’s nice to see that Capcom is still bringing plenty of content and fanfare to its biggest (and best) Monster Hunter title, yet. Well, at least to me it is. I’ve been having a blast with the game, outside of the performance issues that is. It’s also Capcom’s fastest-selling Monster Hunter title, with 10 million sales since its February 2025 release date as of March 2025. While Monster Hunter World has sold more, 25 million, the last time I checked, it took the game considerably longer to hit that milestone.

Monster Hunter Wilds is available to play on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
