DLSS 4 Boosts DOOM: The Dark Ages and More with Latest NVIDIA Game Ready Driver

DOOM: The Dark Ages Key Art with Nvidia Banner

If you’re like me and are gearing up to dive into DOOM: The Dark Ages on PC—available now through Premium Edition Early Access—you might’ve been holding off for the latest NVIDIA Game Ready Driver. Good news: it’s here.

This week’s driver update enables DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, significantly boosting performance in DOOM: The Dark Ages.

DOOM: The Dark Ages – Optimized for RTX

Step into the blood-stained boots of the DOOM Slayer in DOOM: The Dark Ages with the game-changing capabilities of GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs. The game launches in Early Access today and launches globally on May 15th. When played on a GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics card or laptop, AI-powered NVIDIA DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation boosts frame rates and constructs high-quality images, enhancing the visuals for the definitive DOOM: The Dark Ages PC experience. DOOM: The Dark Ages’ gameplay is also at its fastest and most responsive on GeForce RTX GPUs due to the inclusion of NVIDIA Reflex.

Speaking of DOOM: The Dark Ages, be sure to check out our review.

Even More Games Supported On The Latest NVIDIA Driver

Of course, this new driver improves support for DOOM: The Dark Ages. Additionally, it supports New World: Aeternum‘s DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation and the NVIDIA Reflex update.

On top of that, there is support for 15 new DLSS overrides for the latest games that are now available, multiplying performance, enhancing image quality, and improving your experience:

  • Bodycam
  • Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
  • Commandos Origins
  • Lost Skies
  • Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree
  • Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024
  • Necrophosis
  • New World: Aeternum
  • No More Room in Hell 2
  • RuneScape: Dragonwilds
  • Spirit of the North 2
  • Steel Seed
  • Tempest Rising
  • The Talos Principle: Reawakened
  • Warframe

For a full list of games and apps with DLSS overrides and a breakdown of which overrides are available in each title, head here.

There is even more games that should benefit from this new driver, but I’d be here all day listing them. I just hope there are no issues with this latest driver, since the last few updates have had some significant issues.

Jordan has been playing games since the age of six. This ignited a passion which initially led him towards game development before trying his hand in the realm of games media, starting in 2022. It turns out he's quite good at it, even if he doesn't always believe in himself. Now, just a few short years later, not only is Jordan a valued member of our staff here at The Outerhaven, but he also co-owns and helps to run Analog Stick Gaming.
