Could The Fallout TV Series Go Six Seasons?

One of its stars seems to indicate that it could!

Fallout, Fallout TV Series

The Fallout TV Series, which debuted on Amazon Prime Video last year, may only be a year old, but it’s one that still resonates with many fans. It was proof that an original story can be done in an established video game world, so long as you take proper care and respect the lore that was there before. The show acted as a true “prequel story” to the Wasteland while also allowing all the other stories from the teams behind the games to be canon. Add that to great acting (thank you, Walter Goggins!) and some great special effects, and the show has been a huge hit (read our review!)

Recently, Goggins confirmed that filming of Season 2 has wrapped, which is great news. However, at a Comic Con panel, as noted by Reddit, fellow star Aaron Moten, who plays the Brotherhood of Steel member Maximus, noted to a crowd of people, the Fallout TV Series could go WELL beyond Season 2:

“[I was told] when I sat down to do the series, that we would have a starting point, and they gave me the end point. And that end point hasn’t changed, but it is Season 5, 6, for the end point. We’ve always known that we’re going to take our time with the development of our characters.”

It’s always nice to hear that a plan is in place for a show like this. Now, obviously, due to the nature of streaming and Hollywood in general, the show may not go that far. Or, it could go beyond that! It’ll just depend on how many people watch it, it’s budget for each season, and if the quality holds up.
