Fire Emblem The Sacred Stones Has Arrived On Nintendo Switch Online!

Eirika and Ephraim Are Back!

I love the Fire Emblem franchise, but it’s also fair for me to note that I definitely played things “out of order” due to when I learned about the series. My first game from the franchise was on the GameCube, and when I loved it, I looked back at past entries to see which ones I could find. What game did I find? Fire Emblem The Sacred Stones, which is the newest entry into the Nintendo Switch Online service. The game is a classic in many ways, and delivers two of the series’ most memorable protagonists via Eirika and Ephraim.

The game was also special for how it had branching storylines depending on whether you picked Eirika or Ephraim at the start of the journey, a trend that would return in later handheld entries and eventually console entries like Three Houses. Fire Emblem The Sacred Stones was definitely a worthy title, and the two protagonists weren’t just heavily featured in the Heroes mobile title, but Fire Emblem Engage as some of the title’s Emblems.

Nintendo added Fire Emblem Sacred Stones to Switch Online. Available now to celebrate the series 35th Anniversary!

We know from the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct that Fire Emblem Path of Radiance will come to the updated version of Nintendo Switch Online and bring with it Path of Radiance, which many fans, including myself, are just itching to play again.
