Star Wars Zero Company Announcement Trailer And New Info Revealed

Earlier this week, Star Wars Zero Company, an upcoming turn-based tactics game, was announced for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Now, a trailer for the game has been released, providing us with more information about it. If I didn’t know any better, it feels like someone looked at XCOM and thought, “Let’s put a Star Wars spin on this.” Which makes sense, as several members of the developer, Bit Reactor, also worked on XCOM.

And that’s not a bad thing, if you ask me. Check out the announcement trailer below, and if you’re a Star Wars fan, be sure to pay close attention.

There’s a war you don’t see. The one fought in the shadows. The war beneath the war.”

Command an elite squad through a gritty and authentic story set during the twilight of the Clone Wars in STAR WARS Zero Company™, a single-player turn-based tactics game developed by Bit Reactor in collaboration with Respawn Entertainment and Lucasfilm Games.

Step into the shoes of Hawks, a former Republic officer who leads Zero Company – an unconventional outfit of professionals for hire hailing from across the galaxy. Hawks and Zero Company are recruited for an operation that pits them against an emerging threat that will consume the galaxy if left unchecked. To succeed, Hawks will lead a team of uneasy allies who must set aside their differences to overcome nearly impossible odds.

From what I understand, Star Wars Zero Company will pretty much be a dream game for strategy fans, and there’s going to be tons of customization. The main character, Hawk, can have his combat class and appearance completely customized. This game will also take place during the Clone Wars, because let’s be honest, the Clone Wars were an amazing time.

Strategy Turn-based tacticsCreate and customize your own squad of recruited operators and embark on tactical operations alongside a cast of newly authored Star Wars characters. Between missions, develop a base of operations and gather intelligence through a network of informants to stay one step ahead of Zero Company’s adversaries. With near-endless possibilities and high-stakes encounters that could change the fate of the galaxy, players will need intense preparation, adept strategy, and the right squad to succeed.

It’s still early on, and there hasn’t been a lot of information about the game being released, but I’m sure more will be revealed (or leaked) in due time.

Are you a Star Wars fan who has a passion for turn-based tactics games, and if so, what do you think about Star Wars Zero Company so far? Let us know in the comments.

Star Wars Zero Company will be released in 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
