The piano trio band Omoinotake today releases “Hitorigoto”, the ending theme of TV Anime “The Apothecary Diaries” Season 2 Cour 2.
This anime, set in the emperor’s palace, follows a girl who serves as a poison tester and solves various challenging cases. The novels & comics of the series have surpassed 40 million copies in total sales. The second season, which began airing in January 2025, has consistently ranked high on various streaming platforms, gaining popularity across generations.
The song is an emotional mid-tempo ballad that expresses the sorrow of not realizing the true feelings of a loved one and the sense of loss when everyday conversations become “soliloquies,” conveyed through repeated key changes and oriental sounds.
Today, on Friday, April 4th, TV Anime “The Apothecary Diaries” Season 2 Cour 2 has started airing.
Right after the broadcast, the creditless ending movie featuring “Hitorigoto” has been released on the TOHO animation YouTube channel.
