Overwatch, which was recently announced during Blizzcon 2014, is a 6 vs 6 objective based shooter that looks to be in the same mold as Team Fortress 2. In fact after looking at the movie that is currently being played during Blizzcon 2014, I have to say I’m really digging the concept and the character designs so far.
As for the progress of the title, per Metzen is seems that this title has been in development for some time and is “closer to a release than we think”. In fact attendees at Blizzcon 2014 will be able to get a first time hands on during the event. For the rest of us we can go sign up for the beta over at Http://playoverwatch.com (which isn’t live just yet).
Can’t wait for more info on this title, hell I can’t wait to get my hands on it!
