Get Ready for the Monster Hunter Wilds Showcase—Coming March 25th

Ah, Monster Hunter Wilds. Whether you love it (like I do) or hate it, there’s no denying that the game has been a success story for Capcom. However, the game has gotten a bit stale due to the challenge that most of us have already surpassed, and now it’s just a mad dash to see how high we can get our hunter rank before we get tired. Capcom has revealed that it will present a Monster Hunter Wilds showcase on March 25, 2025, to highlight the new monsters and additions coming to the game.”

On March 25th, 2025, at 7 AM PT/ 10 AM ET/2 PM GMT, Capcom will present a Monster Hunter Wilds Showcase, hosted by Monster Hunter Wilds producer Ryozo Tsujimoto, that will give us the rundown of what we can expect from the first Monster Hunter Wilds update.

It wasn’t long after Monster Hunter Wilds was released that Capcom teased this update, which will include a new monster, the leviathan known as Mizutsune, as well as other updates to the game. The Gathering Hub, a location for players to communicate, have meals together, and more, will also be added. In addition, we can only hope that with all the feedback players have been submitting to Capcom, some of those suggestions will also be included in this first update.

Performance, which has been an issue across the board—from PlayStation to Xbox and even PC—doesn’t seem to be addressed in this first update, though.

And while this won’t be covered in the showcase, it likely won’t be that much longer, given the success of Monster Hunter Wilds, before Capcom reveals its first paid update, which will likely add new areas and even more monsters, similar to how Monster Hunter World: Iceborne and Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak did.

Monster Hunter Wilds is playable on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Be sure to read our review here.
