The Last of Us Season 2 Gets Official Release Date

Every Path Has Its Price

The Last Of Us Season 2

Anticipation is a curious thing, especially when it comes to waiting for the follow-up season to one of the greatest pieces of television history ever. That might sound like an “exaggeration” when you consider that the show in question was a video game adaptation, but most agree it was an incredibly powerful TV show that helped bolster the love of the video game. Now, fans are waiting eagerly for The Last Of Us Season 2, and things have finally gotten clearer on its release date. HBO made it known that 2025 would be when it debuted, but now, we know it’ll arrive on April 13th, and a set of tweets showcase the three main characters that will drive the narrative:

The Last of Us Season 2 takes place five years after the original season ended. Joel and Ellie are in Jackson, living their lives, when things suddenly get very bad. The seven-episode second season won’t cover all of TLOU Part 2, but it will get a good chunk done. The only question is where it’ll end, and where a “certain character” will be by that point.
