Capcom Fighting Collection 2 Gets A May 2025 Release Date

During the Capcom Spotlight livestream, Capcom provided more information on the upcoming Capcom Fighting Collection 2 title, which was revealed back in August 2024. The next collection of Capcom fighting titles is up for pre-order for all platforms, including Xbox, and will be released on May 16, 2025.

As a preorder bonus, players will unlock rearranged versions of Soy Sauce for Geese and Rival Schools Medley by CAP-JAMS, available for listening within the in-game Museum and a limited number of physical copies of the collection will include a Capcom vs. SNK original comic.

Here are the games that will be included in this collection.

  • Capcom vs SNK Pro
  • Capcom vs SNK 2
  • Project Justice
  • Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper
  • Capcom Fighting Evolution
  • Power Stone
  • Power Stone 2
  • Plasma Sword

Every one of these games is an arcade fighting game fan’s dream and I can’t even begin to count how many quarters and hours I’ve spent playing these games.

It’s safe to say that if you’re a person who grew up on Capcom’s fighting games, Capcom is back!

For those keeping score, Capcom released the Capcom Fighting Collection back in 2022.  It will be two years since the first collection was released, and hopefully, Capcom has learned its lesson as the first collection had several issues that kept it from greatness.
