Netherrealm Studios announced the next season of the Mortal Kombat 1 Pro Kompetition esports run. With several events already planned for the season, the Mortal Kombat 1-focused spectacle has its’ work cut out for it. Kompetitors (yes, we’re spelling it this way here) can qualify for the Final Kombat World Championship in September 2025 through these 10 events and claim their stake at the $255,000, USD prize pool. Online tournaments will also be available for qualifiers and doubled.

Evo Champion SonicFox took home the $70, 000 USD prize last year at the Final Kombat World Championship 2024 against Nicholas. The finals took place in Toronto, Canada, last year.
Of course, Terminator’s T-1000 and Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Conan The Barbarian (1984) footage was shown in-game. Conan is giving off the Tusk(Killer Instinct) vibes. Then again, Tusk’s design was inspired by the 1984 classic. To see Conan in a fighting game feels as though this is full circle now. This is now Arnold’s second appearance in a Mortal Kombat game with Mortal Kombat 11 being his first as T-800. Why T800 and T-1000 are in two separate games is beyond us. These both are not in official trailers as of yet. 
Conan will be slashing his way into Mortal Kombat 1 later this month for the Khaos Reigns Expansion DLC to follow Ghostface. T-800 will be released after that for all platforms after Conan comes.
