Today EastAsiaSoft is thrilled to share that retro pixel art JRPG Starlight Legacy will officially release for PC on Steam February 6th. A new gameplay trailer has been prepared to showcase the game ahead of launch.

Inspired by genre classics of the 16-bit era, Starlight Legacy combines nostalgic old-school charm with modernized gameplay mechanics and crisp widescreen presentation. Following the tale of three protagonists unwittingly pulled into a devastating conflict, Starlight Legacy features a seamless kingdom to freely explore while gathering artifacts to restore the Eternity Tree. Players can visit each of the four provinces in any order as they build up their party’s stats, meet townspeople, encounter monsters, take to the skies in 3D flight sequences and discover secrets scattered around the expansive map.

Starlight Legacy is originally developed by Decafesoft and will be published worldwide by eastasiasoft. This was one of three leading titles that eastasiasoft presented at Tokyo Game Show 2024, where it was met with strongly positive reception by players who completed the demo. Starlight Legacy was also featured during Steam Next Fest.

Pricing is set at US$16.99 for Steam, plus a 10% launch discount will be applied for the first week following release. Players are encouraged to wishlist the game on Steam to be alerted as soon as the game is available. Starlight Legacy will support English, French, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese languages.
