Fantastic Four Arrive In New Marvel Rivals Trailer

By Todd BlackJanuary 6, 2025
Marvel Rivals

It’s honestly a bit insane how big Marvel Rivals has gotten since its launch. Sure, there was hype around it when it was in beta on Steam and beyond, but the fact that it’s had over 20 million players is crazy. Plus, the game isn’t just some sham free-to-play team shooter with Marvel skins. NetEase worked hard to make the game fun, break down some of the restrictions games like Overwatch has done, and not try to overload players with microtransactions. They’re there, but they’re emphatically optional. So, with all that good will built up, the team decided to drop the reveal of the game’s first official season!

In it, Dracula emerges and blankets New York City in an “Eternal Night,” which gets the Fantastic Four involved in the fight as that’s where they call home. The new event begins on January 10th! You can check the trailer out below:

Seeing this makes you wonder what else from the Marvel multiverse might drop into Marvel Rivals in the future…
