PS Vita and PlayStation TV Phantasy Star Nova Limited Editions to hit Japan

By Keith MitchellOctober 25, 2014

Sure Sega, keep rubbing it in why don’t you. It’s bad enough that you have yet to release Phantasy Star Online 2 for the North American market, but now you do this?  Just in time for the release of Phantasy Star Nova (Which will also not make it to the West) are limited edition bundles for both the PS Vita and PS Vita (PlayStation TV to you).

PSN_1

The Phantasy Star Nova PS Vita bundle will include a specialized white or black colored PS Vita (Wi-fi),  digital download version of the game, a sleeve to hold the Vita and a message card for 20,980 yen / $194 USD. The PS Vita Value Pack will include everything that the PS Vita includes with the exception of the PS Vita being swapped for the TV variant and a Dual Shock 3 controller for 16,280 yen / $150 USD or you can just get the standard PS Vita TV package with just includes the PS Vita TV and a copy of the game for 11,480 yen / $106 USD. The limited edition bundles are set to be released on November 27th, 2014 in Japan… which also happens to be my birthday.

Dang it Sega, we gamers in the West also LOVE the Phantasy Star series, why do you torment us so much? Bring this along with Phantasy Star Online 2 to the WEST and do it soon! Either way it’s looking like I’ll have to import one of these, it’s been way too long since I had my Phantasy Star itch scratched.
