Poka Poka Ion Perform ED Theme for I’m a Behemoth, an S-Ranked Monster, but Mistaken for a Cat, I Live as an Elf Girl’s Pet

By Josh PiedraDecember 11, 2024

The second promotional video for the TV anime I’m a Behemoth, an S-Ranked Monster, but Mistaken for a Cat, I Live as an Elf Girl’s Pet, set to air in January 2025, was released today. Alongside the video, it was announced that the anime’s ending theme will be performed by the popular voice actress unit, Poka Poka Ion.

Poka Poka Ion is a duo formed by Nao Toyama and Kiyono Yasuno, who are also members of the tactical sound unit Walküre from Macross Δ. They debuted in March 2022 with their first single. Now, three years later, they are set to release their highly anticipated second single, “Rimmy,” on March 5, 2025. This song will serve as the ending theme for the anime I’m a Behemoth, an S-Ranked Monster, but Mistaken for a Cat, I Live as an Elf Girl’s Pet.

The new artist photo is themed around baths, a highlight of the soothing scenes in the anime. Featuring their signature pink and blue colors, the design perfectly embodies Poka Poka Ion’s warmth and charm.

“Rimmy” will be available in three versions: Poka Poka Edition, Ion Edition, and Anime Regular Edition. The Poka Poka Edition includes a Blu-ray disc featuring special content such as Poka Poka Ion’s After-Bath Talk!—a segment where the duo enjoys food and drinks post-bath—along with different versions of the “Rimmy” music video and a behind-the-scenes making-of feature.

The Ion Edition will feature a deluxe set that includes a 56-page photo book titled Poka Poka Ion’s Onsen Tour Journal, along with a karaoke CD for duets with Nao Toyama and Kiyono Yasuno.

The Anime Regular Edition features an exclusive, newly illustrated anime-style jacket designed specifically for this release.
