Capitalism strikes again as Disney+ will soon demand more money from their customers. Starting on October 17, monthly subscriptions will see an increase.
Below are the following changes:
- Plan w/ Ads: $7.99 -> $9.99
- Plan w/o Ads: $13.99 -> $15.99
- Duo Basic: $9.99 -> $10.99
- Duo Premium: No change ($19.99)
In addition, the pricing of plans in Canada will rise by $1 beginning December 11. Disney+ previously raised the prices of their plans back in October 2023 along with password sharing restrictions.
With the impending price hike, those who already subscribe to the service will need to decide if they will continue to do, while those wo already cancelled will need to decide if they will continue to stay unsubbed. While might be a difficult choice given that the upcoming Disney+ content schedule is looking very extractive.
