Sky Oceans Wings For Hire Review (PC) – Flying The Line

Getselious has gotten his hands on the new airplane dog-fighting JRPG Sky Oceans: Wings For Hire. He put all his thoughts in a review in the video below.

Game Name: Sky Oceans: Wings For Hire
Platform(s): PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X, Nintendo Switch, PC (reviewed)
Publisher(s): PQube
Developer(s): Octeto Studios
Release Date: October 10th, 2024

Even though Getselious had high hopes for the game, he was left wanting more out of it.

If you want to try the game out for yourself, it is out right now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Summary

Sky Oceans: Wings For Hire has lots of potential but doesn’t draw it all out of the game and its ideas and concepts. A lack of voice acting makes moments hit more hollow than they should. The gameplay becomes more repetitive the longer you play.
