It looks like someone decided to beat Bandai Namco to the punch and release some footage of what appears to be the upcoming Tekken 8 DLC, Unforgotten Echoes today. An unknown YouTube account has taken it upon itself to spoil the fun for those who have finished the main campaign of Tekken 8. Lidia, Eddy, and Heihachi are present in this episode.
This also goes into the untold story of how a certain character has dodged death itself. Though most of it is in Japanese(with other languages per character, as usual, but the captions are in Japanese), it does get to the final part of the explanation. Even the Tekken Monks’ purpose is discussed in this video.
A fair warning to anyone checking this out that it going into spoiler territory.
Coincidentally, Heihachi’s gameplay was released today. Bandai Namco has yet to respond to the leak. It looks as though we’ll have to wait until October 3rd for the rest of the story when the Unforgotten Echoes chapter releases fully.
