Enotria: The Last Song Delays Xbox Version Indefinitely Over Microsoft’s Communication Issues

The developers of Enotria: The Last Song, Jyamma Games, have announced that the Xbox version of the game is indefinitely delayed. The studio cited a “lack of communication” from Microsoft as the primary reason for the hold-up. Despite the game’s upcoming release on September 19 for PS5 and PC, Xbox players will have to wait indefinitely.

In a statement on their official website, Jyamma Games expressed their disappointment: “We understand how disappointing this news is to the Xbox community. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts and the hard work of our dedicated team, we’ve encountered challenges that have delayed our release on the Xbox platform. We want to emphasize that this is not a decision we’ve made lightly.”

We believe that Xbox is blessed with a huge gaming community and we would love to release Enotria on your platform as fast as possible, as we spent a lot of money and resources to make it happen, but this task is nearly impossible with Microsoft taking months to reply to us when…

The developers further clarified on social media that the delay was not due to technical issues but rather slow response times from Microsoft. They mentioned, “The game works fine on Series S and X, but we cannot go through the submission process and can take even 2 months to reply to us.”

The studio also denied any rumors of a Sony exclusivity deal, emphasizing that they aimed to release the game on all platforms. They stated, “We’re not paid by Sony and we’re not making a deal with PlayStation.” The CEO of Jyamma Games, Jacky Greco, echoed this frustration on Discord, suggesting that Microsoft “doesn’t care about Enotria and they don’t care about you,” referring to the fans. Greco added that they had already spent significant resources on porting the game to Xbox.

Xbox players hoping to play Enotria: The Last Song will need to wait for further updates from Jyamma Games.
